Welcome to BookingOffbeat.com. By booking a trip, homestay, or experience through our platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming any booking.
1. General Terms
BookingOffbeat is a travel agency specializing in offbeat destinations across North Bengal and Sikkim.
We act as a facilitator between travelers and homestays, boutique stays, transport providers, and local hosts.
By using our services, you accept that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Booking Policy
All bookings must be made in advance through our website, email, phone, or WhatsApp.
A booking is confirmed only after receipt of advance payment (amount specified at the time of booking).
Balance payment, if any, must be cleared as per the schedule shared before your travel.
3. Payment Policy
Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or other approved digital methods.
Advance payment is non-refundable, except in cases where BookingOffbeat or the property is unable to provide the booked service.
Final invoices will be shared via email or WhatsApp.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations must be requested in writing (email/WhatsApp).
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed as per the specific property’s cancellation policy, which will be shared at the time of booking.
No refunds will be applicable for:
Last-minute cancellations (usually within 7 days of check-in, unless stated otherwise).
No-shows or early check-outs.
Unused services (e.g., meals, transport, activities).
In case of unforeseen events (natural calamities, strikes, roadblocks, or government restrictions), BookingOffbeat will assist with rescheduling wherever possible, but refunds are not guaranteed.
5. Responsibilities & Liabilities
BookingOffbeat carefully verifies properties and experiences, but the ultimate responsibility for services lies with the property owners/hosts.
We are not liable for:
Changes in itinerary due to weather, natural calamities, strikes, or road closures.
Any accident, injury, theft, or loss during the trip.
Service issues directly controlled by third-party vendors (homestays, transport providers, etc.).
Guests are responsible for their personal safety, belongings, and travel insurance.
6. Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to respect local culture, traditions, environment, and property rules.
Unruly behavior, damage to property, or misconduct may result in cancellation of booking without refund.
Use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
7. Transport & Activities
Transport and activities arranged through BookingOffbeat are managed by trusted local partners.
We are not responsible for delays or disruptions due to road/traffic/weather conditions.
Activity participation (trekking, hiking, adventure sports, etc.) is voluntary and at the guest’s own risk.
8. Privacy Policy
We collect basic personal information (name, contact details, travel preferences) only for the purpose of booking and communication.
BookingOffbeat will not share guest information with third parties, except when required for travel arrangements or legal compliance.
9. Force Majeure
BookingOffbeat shall not be held liable for failure to perform its obligations if such failure is caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, strikes, or government restrictions.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts in [Insert City/State – e.g., Siliguri/Darjeeling, West Bengal].
